I have the Leupold MK 4 (8.5x - 25x) with the bors. I can't say enough about this scope. Took the full weight of the Bushmaster BA50 (before the bors was added) when it took a tumble off the cleaning bench, landed on the concrete right on the elevation knob. Took a chunck out of the concrete and bashed the knob, but the scope still maintains a zero! I have the Barrett Ex rings set at the 40 moa.

I like the Barrett rings but they don't come in 34mm so Larue was next because Badger rings are to high for my liking. thanks for sharing Ridz!

NightForce NXS 8-32x56 with NP R1 reticle. Need to have the Barret X-Rings if you want to go out past 1200 yards due to the internal travel. Custom 246gr BoreTech FMJ on Norma Brass, avg is under 1/2 MOA. Hellava a weapon.

Is there anyone else out there with any ideas on ring and scope combos for the 98B? I think my setup is pretty fool proof but I am human so I could be wrong. i also added hand grips to mine

What is the distance between the rings on that Larue mount?

I am running a USO ER-25, 5-25 with the 34mm tube. Also have USO rings as well. My objective is very close to the rail. Works awesome.

I have two Premier Reticle Tactical, the 3-15x and 5-25x, and i love them more than any other scope. Especially the 5-25 heritage tactical, at my point of view, one of the best Tactical Scope around in the market aviable, the only scope atm i would prefer of the PR's would be a Leupold MK8 (if aviable).

My one is mounted on a Recknagel ERA-TAC blockmount, which is pretty expensive, but here in europe something of the best you can get for your bucks.
I dont know if they're well known over seas so here's the link:
http://era-tac.de/index.php/en/products/one-piece-mounts

With QD one piece mount - the cool thing is, after closing QD, you're fixin the mount with 2-3 screwturns.

few days ago i had broken ARMS #22 rings on my savage while shooting, this made me very curious and i decided to exchange everything to era-tac and/or barrett-rings soon.

I like it! I have a NF unimount-20MOA on an ar15. And that's pretty much all I would put it on. That era-tac looks way more robust and just plain beefier. I have ex-rings on my Panther, but will never need the 30moa position. I use them because I don't like any of the other 20moa mounts I have found, and I know the Barrett rings hold up to anything(I have 4 sets on various rifles) Thanks for the tip I will be looking into it. :cheer:

Have used a March FX 5-40X in Barrett ring on my MRAD. Also have Vortex Razor HD 5-20X and just got S&B 3-20X. All have great glass and tracking and very rugged. Somewhat pricy, but reasonable for what they're sitting on! :cheer:
