Accessory Rails

Postby Raptor » Fri 12 Oct, 2012 7:25 am

Hi All,
Did a quick search of the posts and came up with squat so it's over to you guys, surely I'm not the only one looking for Accessory rails however they appear to be made out of "unobtanium", word from the Barrett Importer here "Down Under" is that it's likely to be a 6month plus wait for the genuine article.

What's everyone else doing in the meantime? I have some blanks coming from the good old US of A but I'm not set up that well as a machine shop and the stuff is so cheap you have to wonder about it putting up with the recoil (gentle as it is - I love this thing) particularly if it is being used to mount a tripod.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I don't know how the importation works on web orders Down Under but here are the links to the rails on the Barrett website.

Got the long 4 screw rails today, screws were not included so you will need to order them or purchase locally. Also, the large hole that would be used for the removal sling swivel is to large to be used for that purpose.

Halsey - I'm not sure when you ordered but we have since corrected this. The 98B accessory rails should be shipping with the screws included now.

The updated links for the new part number (that includes screws) are:

Barrett Firearms - just ordered and got the rails last week, end of August 2013. It looks like someone didn't get the memo.
