Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 MOAR-T Riflescope C524

Postby Birddog0113 » Sun 31 Aug, 2014 8:32 pm

Long story short. Waiting on a new M99 to get here. I was going to go with a Leupold MK4 4.5-14 and the Bors. A friend of a friend was dumping his gear and had a Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 MOAR-T Riflescope C524 so I basically stole it from him. Now to my question. Is this too much glass or are there any reasons why I should or shouldn't use this? I know i could get my money back on resale but **** this thing is sweet to look through. Thanx, Birddog

Only reason O see not to use that glass is because you owe it to me. :-)

That is a great scope and you will enjoy it.

Congrats on the great score.

Just remember that the more you magnify the more you have to deal with mirage. Unless you are a very experienced long range shooter I would recommend not going over about 16X when shooting. But dial it up when checking targets. I think it will be a perfect fit for the M99. You will need extra high rings though to clear the scope rail.
Lack of planning on your part does NOT constitute an emergency on mine.
