Pelican case foam insert ... where to buy?

Postby flyer91 » Sun 24 Feb, 2013 3:43 pm

I'm looking for a source to buy a set of the foam inserts for my M99's Pleican case.
Any links or info as to where I can buy this???

TIA
If I only get to have one more party in my life, it's my most sincere hope it'll be the day after I outlive Jane Fonda .......

Why not call Barrett? I would think they had inserts since it is their rifle.

You can always give us a call at 615-896-2938. We unfortunately do not currently have a way to provide just the foam and you would need to purchase a new case.

Yeah, I know that, hence my question .........

My case is actually a brand new Pelican 1750. Unfortunately the foam in the pelican 1750 is just a three piece set, and each set is too thin to be cut out and properly fit the M99 in between the other two without distorting the case, and causing the seal integrity to be suspect.
Obviously if I cut out either of the outer pieces then there would be no padding for one side of the rifle.

So ......... I'll look around the 'net to see if I can find some foam pieces that are half as thick as each of the Pelican 3 piece set , and use them with the two of the regular Pelican 3 piece set, cut out to fit my M99 in there properly and still have padding on both sides.

Thanks for the responses.

The insert Barrett has for the M99 is a hard foam insert for the Pelican 1750 case. It also works for the M95 as well.
