Can a Harris or any other type of bipod be attached to a M-99 Barrett? Just asking.

Other bipods don't work nearly as well (or at all).

Buy the Barrett bipod - they're pricy, but well worth it and can stand the recoil much better.

You'll recoup your $$ if you ever sell the M99.

The M99 Should have come with the Barrett bipod.
Lack of planning on your part does NOT constitute an emergency on mine.

Yes, I agree it SHOULD have.

When I bought my M99 (2006), It didn't come in the case from Barrett's distributor.

After many calls, Barrett's distributor insisted that the BiPod needed to be ordered separately for the rifle and was not included in the price I was quoted. Didn't get any assistance from Barrett - So I just gave up and ordered the BiPod directly from Barrett.

To this day I feel the distributor removed the BiPod from the M99 package (before shipping to my FFL) , so they could sell it separately.

Shadow, You are probably right. But, Barrett should have taken care of that issue for you. I am surprised they didn't.

Did you, or did you NOT buy from a Barrett distributor?

If you did not, then I don't understand your beef.

I bought the advertised M99 package from a Barrett distributor.

After delivery I discussed the missing Bipod issue with the distributor AND
Barrett. Distributor said NO Bipod included - Barrett said it WAS (to the distributor).

After calling multiple times I just gave up and ordered (another) Bipod directly from Barrett.

I can tell your reading comprehensive is lacking. Or maybe your meds didn't kick in before you posted.

Lastly, I don't give a $heet, whatever you think.

Your post adds Nothing to this thread.

Go TROLL somewhere else.

My of my.. touchy, aren't we??

Now that my Meds have kicked in, I see that you and your "Dealer" don't get along..

If he's really an Authorized dealer I'm surprised at what happened.

Sure looks like you got screwed. :poke:
