Different FDE M107A1s?

Postby johnson184 » Fri 07 Aug, 2015 3:13 am

Looking to order a M107A1 finally this month! Been thinking about getting the 20" version... but I know I want it in FDE.
Problem is... I've noticed some have a complete FDE appearance while others had the grips, bipod, barrel, and some other stuff still in black.

Are both color options considered normal? What's the deal?

The ones that are completely painted are the early rifles. Apparently the paint rubbed off in some areas and they had a bunch of complaints, even though it was in normal wear areas. But, since it was painted it was very noticeable.
Lack of planning on your part does NOT constitute an emergency on mine.

My Bipod is painted, but the brake is black. I'll report back with my serial number later.
