The 82-A-1 (.416) is a beast. It's got a lot of punch, easy to assemble and easy to clean. The down side, it's heavy and the triger is heavy and sloppy. As for the weight, it seems as if that was corrected with the 107. But Barrett doesn't build the 107 in .416, so I can not personally confirm my assumption. Nor can I say that the 107's trigger has improved over the 82-A-1 either. Just my two cents.
