iData Book now available!

Postby Barrett1 » Fri 23 Sep, 2011 4:27 pm

Barrett proudly sponsors iData Book and it's now available on the App Store!

iDatabook is the premier electronic Data Book used by rifle shooters, both sport and tactical, to gather information to match the shooter, their rifle, and ammunition.

With iData Book, shooters can record information on multiple rifles, ammunition, and rifle setups. iData Book offers the standard features of a data book as well as classes, range drills, yardage markers for setting up targets, and shot analysis with suggestions to marksmanship errors. Another unique feature of iData Book is the range card featuring google maps. iData Book also offers a COSIGN Indicator, which allows the shooter to correct for high angle shooting. A links page provides websites for rifle and ammunition manufacturers, schools and equipment. Data pages can be backed up to a server and/or printed so that important information gathered will not be lost.

Visit the App Store to download or idatabook.net for more info.

There is an android version in the works, but we don't have dev details. Idatabook.net or their facebook page is the place for dev updates.

Just downloaded this. Looks like a lot of good information, but have not had a chance to use it yet since I am still getting all the accessories I need to get my new MRAD sighted in and cleaned for good barrel seasoning. Any advice would be appreciated! I'm new to this. 8-)

This product is very intriguing. Anyone else have any recent experience with this app? I'm looking at purchasing this. :headbang:

Have used the iPad app a few times. Seems to be a great way to keep all your weapon and ammo inventory in one place. Still learning how to use it most efficiently. Excellent way to keep accurate round count on each weapon. My wife doesn't mind my shooting several days a week, but after several hours at the range, she's not to happy when I get home and spend another hour or two recording data on my iPad. She usually has other things planned! With data books at the range, you can record the info in real time, letting your barrel cool between 5 round groups. Just haven't lugged my iPad to the range with all my other gear and my iPhone app is too small for precise shot placement on target screen. Well worth the money though and I should get much more efficient with it in time.

I just pulled it up from the link above, and it is there.

Has been working fine. Easy to log, retrieve and review information. Worth the cost, easily.
