Re: This Forum is Hard to Read

Just please do not incorporate any of the social media crap INTO the website(access from or with does not matter),but I for one can not stand all that stuff and refuse to have it at all. Too many sites out there have limited access to features and options for those of us that choose not to submit to...

Re: Sellier & Bellot 6.8 spc info

I don't mess with factory ammo for any of my rifles- but I have used some of their attractively priced pistol ammo and It seemed to be ok.

Re: Federal XM33 ammo

I got several hundred rounds of the stuff- It is hot I just keep it for tactical reserve ammo. Before you go to the trouble of pulling it down, keep your eye on Wideners they get a lot of Lake City OFB and pull down Ball projectiles they also have tons(literally) of wc ball powder. You can really bu...

Re: new owner and member

Well.... Have you taken it out yet Joe? I took mine up over Memorial weekend and ended up shooting in some pretty challenging winds(Wyoming). First time I have really tried some long range/ heavy wind shooting. It was a blast! Out to 1000yds my 82 shot super consistent with the EXBALL recommended wi...

Re: spotting scopes

I dont know of too many other manufacturers that make a spotting scope w/ reticle that are not priced in the stratosphere. The Leupold is the only one I could afford. It would be nice to find a good one under 1500.00? :cheer:

Re: >.308 bad round bolt damage

In my friends quest to find complimentary factory ammo for his for his LR308 he had a punctured primer using silver state armory 168gr. Fortunately it did not damage the rifle, but you could definitely tell something was wrong when it went off. We did not finish that box, and he has not ever used th...

Re: militia v BLM?

Exactly! This is not about grazing fees, but a government land grab!. One of the reasons I left CO was because every year places that we would camp and shoot were becoming Off limits by the federal government. We would watch heavily armed militarized BLM contact campers that were recreational shooti...

Re: Barrett m99 on it's way!!

Welcome and congrats on your rifle. So just how far out are you planning to shoot elk lol. I have EX rings on almost all my long range rifles they are very robust, I would match them up to any rings out there. In the 20 moa position I can get a zero @ 1 mile with an NXS 8-32x56 using a conservative ...

Re: militia v BLM?

You would think something this profound would be on every news channel, on every homepage and on every local break. Like it was kinda important-you know like what Justin beaver ate for dinner last night or what kim k. bought for her new toy dog. But no! you have to actually dig on the internet to fi...
