Re: M107 A1 Magazine internal length

Internal measurement is approximately 5.493" to 5.501" on the ones I measured. This is to accommodate a mil-spec cartridge which is 4.400" to 4.450". I hope this helps. I think Ranger meant 5.400-5.450 inches for the standard mil-spec round. To get my rounds .020 off the lands t...

M107 A1 Magazine internal length

Hi I'm back :cheer: I have a 107 A1 showing up hopefully next week, it has cleared initial testing/approval, just waiting for the A -Okay you can have it confirmation. I was wondering what the internal length of the magazine is, as it is showing up in a week or two, separate from the rifle. I would ...

Re: Amount of cant for scope

Get some Barrett X-rings 15-40 & move them further apart to support the scope better & also to give you more options. Thats what I put on my 98B, very happy with them :cheer: The directions say there is a specific amount of space needed for those rings. Make sure to follow the instructions ...

Re: Bravo 98 misfire

Measured the headspace and found .0075, which I believe is out of tolerance, but I will be trying to contact someone at Barrett to find out. Good luck, I have a problem with my 98B the barrel is out of tolerence shoots & fouls like cr-p, have tried a couple of times to contact & no joy, the...

My 98B

Well I finally picked up my 98B from customs yesterday after a 6 month process of import & export permits & selling other rifles or toys that I felt weren't worth as much to me as a 98B. All I can say is that it was well worth it, what a truely awesome rifle :headbang: I can barely wait to t...

Re: Velocity Comparison of 20" & 27" Barrels

I was wondering which 300 grain bullet was used for this data, because it seems awfully slow, not even supersonic at 1000 ?
Jbm with the same atmospherics is way quicker with the 300 SMK ?

Re: 98B optics rail

I have just realised I may have been having a Blonde moment & the scope on the Edge may have already been up one turn ?
I will have to check when it gets back from my smith, he is putting a fancy bolt knob on it.

Re: 98B optics rail

Thanks Shadow. I'm looking into getting a 98B  I have an Edge with a flat rail & a VX3 LR. The other week at a fun shoot I set a gong up at 1380. I dialed & hit it after a while :headbang: with my custom 416B & 22-243 but went to dial the Edge & couldn't make it with out holdin...
